Scope H2S, often referred to as "The Silent Killer", is a highly flammable and toxic gas that can easily build up in low-lying areas and confined spaces, and can quickly overcome unprepared workers.
It is therefore important for all oil and gas personnel to be aware of the hazards associated with H2S and how to react to them. This course is designed to give delegates the required knowledge and understanding of the particular hazards and properties of H2S and the appropriate emergency response actions to take if an H2S related incident occurs.
General Course Objectives: The objectives of the Basic H2S course is to ensure that delegates:

All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive
A PT Samson Tiara / Survival Systems Asia certificate approved by OPITO for Basic H2S; and
A laminated wallet course qualification card.
