Aim & Objectives:
This program is designed to provide personnel working in Office, Industrial, commercial, or institutional facilities who are not members of an Emergency Response Team with a basic understanding of fire hazards in the workplace, preventative measures and appropriate responses to a fire emergency. Trainees will develop skills associated with the use of fire extinguishing devices and alarm systems primarily to safely evacuate themselves and others from a fire situation in the workplace. read more

Aim & Objectives:
This course is designed for workers who are potentially exposed to a firefighting hazard. Students will learn the basic principles of fire fighting with handheld fire extinguishers. The classroom sessions cover basic fire theory, extinguisher capabilities and limitations, extinguisher operation, application techniques and recharge and basic maintenance of extinguishers. Exercises on the fire ground include using various handheld extinguishers to fight class A & B fires. read more
