Scope
The Electrical Occupational Health and Safety Expert (AK3 Listrik) training program is designed to impart comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of occupational health and safety related to electrical systems. This 18-day course aligns with the Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 12 of 2015 concerning Electrical Occupational Health and Safety in the Workplace. The program covers basic electrical principles, electrical installations, emergency response, safety procedures, and regulations for safe electrical usage in the workplace.

An Electrical OHS Expert (AK3 Listrik) is a technical professional in the field of electricity who has expertise in OHS related to electrical systems. Appointed by the Minister or an authorised official, they are responsible for the planning, installation, usage, modification, maintenance, inspection, and testing of electrical systems. Companies with electricity generation capacities exceeding 200 kilo Volt-Amperes are required to employ an Electrical OHS Expert.

General Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
  1. Enhance their abilities, expertise, and skills in implementing OHS electrical norms in the workplace.
  2. Develop and supervise the implementation of electrical OHS norms in the workplace.
  3. Plan, install, use, modify, maintain, inspect, and test electrical installations, equipment, and tools safely in the workplace.

  3. OHS Requirements for Planning Electrical Installations, Equipment, and Tools in Electricity:

    • Utilisation.
  6. OHS Requirements for:
    • Lightning Protection Systems,
    • Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations, Equipment, and Tools
  7. Practice & Seminar
  8. Implementation of Electrical OHS in the Occupational Health & Safety Management System
  9. Analysis and Reporting of Electrical Work Accidents

Certificate:
All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive
  • A PT Samson Tiara certificate for Ahli Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Listrik;
  • Certificate and License from Kemenakertrans RI;
  • A laminated wallet course qualification card.
Prerequisites:
  • Indonesian Citizen
  • Min. Strata-1 with 2 years of experience, or Diploma-3 with 4 years’ experience in the electrical field.
  • Digital photo 2x3 & 4x6 (@3 sheets), professionally attired, on red background.
  • Valid Medical Certificate from Doctor/Clinic.
  • Letter of employment from current employer.
  • Copy of ID card.
  • Laptop or Android cell phone with a stable internet connection (applicable for blended method only)
