Scope
The Working at Height / Elevated Platform - Level 2 (Tenaga Kerja Bangunan Tinggi Tingkat 2) training is designed to comply with the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia Regulation No. 9 of 2016 concerning Occupational Safety and Health in Working at Height. This advanced training course is intended for workers operating on fixed or temporary work platforms, who also need to move horizontally or vertically on building structures or in slanted positions. The course provides deeper knowledge, advanced skills, and experience in performing complex tasks at heights, enabling participants to work independently and manage more advanced height-related tasks.

This training is suitable for workers involved in cleaning tall buildings using gondolas, constructing buildings with scaffolding, or installing equipment like air conditioning units and communication towers. These tasks often require access to areas that cannot be reached directly and necessitate the use of platforms, gondolas, ladders, scaffolding, and similar equipment.

General Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

Have a comprehensive understanding of risks, maintenance of safety equipment, and effectively handle emergency situations.
Manage and execute more complex tasks at height independently, including planning and overseeing height-related work.
Work on fixed and/or temporary work floors with fall protection equipment such as nets, pads, or work restraint ropes. They will also be capable of moving to and from these floors using stairs, moving horizontally or vertically on building structures, working in inclined positions, and using pulley systems for raising and lowering goods.
Perform rescues in emergency situations.

Course Content:

Law No. 1 of 1970 concerning Work Safety Act
Basics of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
Characteristics of fixed work floors and temporary work floors
Knowledge of collective fall prevention and restraint devices, as well as movement-limiting devices
Principles of applying fall factors
Safe working procedures at height
Techniques for moving horizontally or vertically using building structures
Techniques for working safely on inclined positions and structures
Techniques for raising and lowering goods using a pulley system
Evaluation

Certificate:
All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive

A PT Samson Tiara certificate for Tenaga Kerja Bangunan Tinggi Tingkat 2;
Certificate and License/SIO from Kemenakertrans RI;
A laminated wallet course qualification card.

Prerequisites:

Indonesian Citizen
Certificate of latest education (min. elementary school/equivalent)
Digital photo 2x3 & 4x6 (@3 sheets), professionally attired, on red background
Valid Medical Certificate from Doctor/Clinic.
Letter of Employment from Employer
Copy of the ID card
Laptop or Android cell phone with a stable internet connection (applicable for blended method only)
